Kent Forestry Stages 1995 note the tree shape in the front of the car! We did not finish because the impact with the tree caused the flywheel to come loose - we caught and we baulked by a Toyota Corolla GTi (Front Wheel Drive)

Kevin Smith has been an Imper since 1986. He still has his first Imp, a Super, which his grandmother gave him. It has been altered to do rallies. (See Impressions Oct. 1999, p.22-23)
During the early 90s, the Imp took part in ten stage rallies. The first: Kent Forest Stages. The second, Breckland Rally, they didn't finish. Their third, Imber Rally, they thoroughly enjoyed. So much so, that they have done it a couple of times, since.
The last rally they competed in was the Kent Forest Stages in 1995. They had to retire because of a collision with some tree stumps.
But they'll be back !

Kent Forestry Stages 1993 - we finished 3rd in class

Tarmac Rally at Longcross - 1993 probably - 3rd in class again (we caught and nearly passed a Peugeot 205 1.6 GTi!) Longcross is a military test track, near Chertsey in Surrey, where rallies are frequently held.
