Piet Tromp getting interviewed by Dutch local television about his Pride & Joy, a Sunbeam Californian.

He is telling about how he has know this particular car since it was bought new by his sister. His brother and Piet (aged 16 at the time) were allowed to use it for a holiday in Zeeland in 1972. He was allowed to borrow it more often, like in 1975 when he took it to Dortmund to visit a friend. Apparently it was rare over in Dortmund, too, and quite a few folks took notice ;-)

At museum 'De Zaansche Schans', near an old advertising pilar of Verkade, Dutch cookies of fame. The cooky factory is right to the side. Businesses that exist for half a century are allowed to call themselves 'Royal'. Hence: Koninklijke Verkade. Piet and Judith who guarded all our Imps, while we visited the museum, met the old mr. Verkade, as he came to investigate the classic cars on his parking lot.
