Subject: Flat Spot ?
Hi Everyone,
Is anyone running twin SUs with a non standard CAM (I don't know what it is yet I haven't peeked) on a 875cc ?
If so what size jet's are you using and have you had trouble with flat spot's just after changing up from 2nd to 3rd or 3rd to 4th ? The car ran well while running rich but after a tune up the flat spot has appeared. Maybe the carbs just need a overhaul.
I do have a set of Strombergs I could whack on, if recommended.

Tim,
I ran a standard Mk2 Imp with twin 1.25" SUs and a Sport cam. A good starting point was an H4 needle with Blue Springs but the exact needle and spring would need to be established on a rolling road. My car ran fine but I always thought it could deliver more. Gary
