Hello list

I found a box with 'Imp' side/flasher lenses L717 on my search for parts for my LBC and brought them with me since I knew this list exsisted.

I can sell full sets - consisting of four (4) matching lenses - in original 1971 dated Lucas boxes for #5.50 each lens - #22 a set + small postage fee.(flasher lenses are amber)

Hope this is a reasonable price since Holden UK asked allomst the double in their 1995 parts list

Have also a few directional switches - one RHD and two LHD

I'm confused. Are these the half clear-half orange lenses for the *front* side and indicator lights ? If so, why would you want a set of four ? The rear indicators are different.

Saw a load of new side-indicator lens at an autojumble last weekend. Didn't buy any as we've plenty of spares but I think they were only a couple of pounds each.

Oh, I understand now. But on my Imp the sidelight and indicator are combined in a single lens. A single piece of plastic.

But mine's a later car (1975), the early one's might've been different.

Hi List

The Imp front indicator/parklight lenses are shared with Hillman Hunter. (Imp had them first.) All the old ones were with the separate clear & amber sections, but for instance Avenger tail-light units were a single 3-colour moulding (more hi-tech from Joe) so I guess Imp ones might have gone that way too.
