I would say very slim , standard pistons seem to have dried up ..
The Imp Sport (GT) does not have separate liners .. the best you can do is a re-bore .. or a 998cc conversion .. the 998cc Pistons have become available recently , italian copies i believe , See Dutche Components .... Or Malcolm Anderson . Liners are still slightly more of a problem ...

An excellent alternative is a Sunbeam 930 block and pistons which are still around new ... This motor with a Standart Sport head goes very well and is very economical due to the higher compression ratio ...
A 930 may still be found in a sunbeam in a scrap yard ...

Hi Russell, Nick & co

When I needed a piston in NZ several years ago, there were no more std size around, so I had to rebore to + .030" as these were then still a Todd stock item. This makes sense, as cylinders only wear bigger! Could be a less unlikely item to score in Oz also?
