Guys (and gals)

I am restoring a Caledonian, and I am after a pair of wing-mirrors for one - they are unique to this particular edition.

If you have broken one, or have one at the bottom of your garden moulding away with the mirrors still attached, I'd be very interested in purchasing them from you.

Thanks,
Tim Morgan

Are you sure ? A Caledonian with wing mirrors ? Which edition was this then ? I thought all the 2000-or-so Caledonians were the same...

Er, they are unique to the Imp Caledonian although I have also found out that they were fitted to the late model Chrysler Avengers. Bob Allan tells me they were made in France, so there is a possibility that they were fitted to Simcas.

Also, some of the Avengers from around the same time (1976-78) had seats made of the same material, but instead of being red tartan, they had black tartan!

Cheers,
Tim

Hi Tim

I hope they made the mirrors in France better than they made some of the late Avenger blocks there...
