In CLASSICS this month (December) is a two-page spread on the 'Revolutionary' Hillman Imp 875cc engine. The source of data/information is Reg Patten of Patten Engines (0181 669 5879) somewhere in Surrey. Has anyone dealt with this gentlemen? Graham Begley

Hello Graham,
I had a cylinder head prepared (big valves etc) by Reg and it was of very high quality.
Also one of our area centre has just bought a 998 engine from him for very reasonable money.

Thanks for the information. For a newcomer it is interesting to build up a picture of the trade sources available.
