Subject: [imps] Unleaded petrol, and Autojumbles
Thanks for all the advice about unleaded petrol. I think that the proper way to go is to get your cylinder head converted, for using unleaded petrol, which I will do eventually. But until that time, I will carry on using leaded, or LRP, or whatever is available at the time.
On a different subject, why can I never find any Imp parts at autojumbles?
There is always loads of stuff for MG,s, Minis, and Fords, but never anything for Imps!!!!

I'm not sure how true this story is, but I was told by an Autojumbler that Hillman / Chrysler / Talbot dealerships that were closing or changing dealerships, were contracted to sell back any unsold stock to the factory, who redirected it to the likes of Grimes, Speedyspares, etc., hence their large stocks.
