The Imp Club

Ancient history

Once there was IVOR, the Imp Variants Owners Register. It was a club run and founded by Derek Hoggarth. Several who later became Imp Club members were registered in this club.
It never really died, but sort-of faded.

At the end of 1980 Richard Knight put an advert in Cars & Car conversions looking for impers interested in forming a club for Imps.

The club owes a great deal to Mr. Knight, who got the club of the ground and who did so much of the background work (as well as nearly everything else) for the two years up to the first Inaugural General Meeting in January 1983.
