Ray Calcutt started racing in the Alan Fraser Ex-works Le Mans Sunbeam Alpine in 1964. Was runner up in the British Saloon Car Championship, won several other Championship Titles and held numerous lap records at British Circuits. Competed successfully in F3, F5000 and Endurance racing. Recorded over 500 wins.
Ray was also an instructor at schools for potential racing drivers at Silverstone, Brands Hatch and Mallory park.
