Dick Delsener, of whom Terry Collins says that his were probably the most powerful Imps ever built. He was U.S. National Champion of the Y Class in 1982, 1987 and 1990, in his boat South Paw.

I did some of the PA work in Detroit and had a blast doing the Vintage stuff. Tom D'Eath came on saturday and chatted for almost half an hour, great stuff. Then during the Sunday morning run Chip Hanauer chatted with us for a long time also. Really great to be able to interview two of the best ever. Also on Sunday Tom stopped by with my participant award - nice touch. I did just a static display, but really enjoyed the event and all the attention that the old boats get. See ya in Clayton - hope to at least start it up there if all goes well.

I just picked up my chrome starter for the South Paw.
As most of you know, chrome does add speed - not just looks.
Working on the relic Imp first, then "Mr. T" will be snuffed up for St. Pete. The relic I decided to name "Old Larry", naturally there's some stories there.
Getting some Imp parts saturday from New Zealand, great prices down there, our dollar is strong.
Not a tremendous amount of other news, but I knew you guys (Hank) would want to know about the starter.
