   Les Cookson in KOR 382F overtaking us on the way to Bangor. I think this is still the M62 or so (at 2:10 PM). The weather was decidedly uncheerful up until we got within miles of Bangor.

Bought in February 2006 off the internet and driven up from Bournemouth without any major problems.
Work done so far  
  • All of the bodywork.
  • Replacement rear bumper together with over-riders both front and rear.
  • Engine completely rebuilt Summer 2006 together with a new clutch
  • Replacement gearbox fitted when original one died on the way to a show
  • New wooden centre dashboard and glove box made by myself from Oak. Various gauges fitted to centre part. Power point fitted to near side.
  • Front of cabin repainted
  • Heater blower and electric screen washer fitted.
  • Replacement rear springs (one was broken), new rear shock absorbers.
  • Imp Sport exhaust system fitted.
  • Mountney 13 steering wheel
  • Minilite alloy wheels and new 165x70Rx12 tyres
  • Ford XR2 front seats.
  • Cibie H4 halogen headlights.
  • High Efficiency Radiator.
  • New number plates.
  • Works Rally dash and instruments.
    I class this as a 'rolling restoration project' in which I attend various 'Classic Car' shows throughout the Summer with my display cabinet stall.
