Moto-Baldet Chamois de Ville

The Chamois inspired a few companies to give their version of it, amongst those: Moto-Baldet.

Moto-Baldet made a pleasantly different Chamois: two-tone paintwork; four headlamps, which looked good and gave a very powerful long-range beam. The imitation grille had been turned upside down. The heater intake was chrome-plated. This part of the conversion could be bought separately (£45) or as part of a new car (£623 - Jan '65). Buying the car directly from Moto-Baldet, there were more extras to consider, like:

Revised instrument nacelles with circulare dials, including rev counter (£32)
Lightweight glass-fibre doors (£23)
A variety of different states of tune. A.o.:
- stage 2 conversion (£65), with the engine work done by Roger Nathan ltd. Extra power came from from a modified cylinder head with ports etc., polished and matched. Modified carburettor with larger choke and new jets. A four branch exhaust manifold and a Servais straight through silencer.
